Crop Prices Start Lower, Traders Remain in Risk-Off Mood
May corn is down 7 cents, May soybeans are down 12 cents and May KC wheat is
down 13 cents.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 7 cents, May soybeans are
down 12 cents and May KC wheat is down 13 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, stock futures are trading slightly lower in
the U.S., in line with lower prices in Europe and Asia, in spite of measures
taken over the weekend to restore confidence in the banking sector. UBS agreed
to purchase Credit Suisse for roughly $3.2 billion and major central banks
around the world agree to provide more liquidity to banks, starting Monday.
USDA's weekly report of grain export inspections, due out at 10 a.m. CDT.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 384.57 at 31,861.98 and the S&P 500 Index down 43.64 at 3,916.64.
The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.40%. Early Monday, June Dow Jones futures
are down 5 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the
London FTSE 100 trading down 0.43%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down
0.39% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.30%. Asian markets
are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 1.42% and China's Shanghai
Composite Index down 0.48%.
